Dr. Mohammed Sadiq Azam MBBS, MD (Medicine), DNB (Cardiology), CCDS (IBHRE) is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist based in the city of Hyderabad. He is an award winning cardiologist having completed his DNB training in Cardiology from the National Board of Examinations and has received Board Certification in Cardiac Device Therapy from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE).
He has served as an office bearer in the Telangana Chapter of the Cardiological Society of India as an Executive Committee member for the year 2021-22.
He is currently the Head of Department of Cardiac Sciences and Cardiac Cath lab Director at Mythri Hospital Mehdipatnam.
Proficient with noninterventional (ECG, Echo - transthoracic & transesophageal), interventional procedures (angiogram, angioplasty/stenting), as well as cardiac device therapy (pacemaker, ICD and CRT device implantations), he has more than 500 such procedures to his credit.
He also has an avid interest in bedside cardiology, a flair for teaching and has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
